A criminal group that terrorized residents of the Odessa region has been neutralized in Ukraine. The head of the gang was the head of the city council of one of the region's port cities.

According to the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police, the defendants tried to illegally take possession of a local recreation center, which is located on the Black Sea coast. They forced the owner of the recreational facility to give up 50% of the corporate rights to it.
The attackers assigned “their” director, who began looking for buyers for this complex. The group members intended to take away the remaining 50% of corporate rights from the owner.

As soon as the buyers were found, they met the woman and began to threaten her. According to the attackers, she will be doused with acid if she is refused to transfer other corporate rights to the facility.
The mayor brought in a lawyer he knew, supervised registrars and notaries, who were supposed to re-register this tourist base for potential buyers.

Now they plan to choose a preventive measure for him. An investigation is ongoing to bring all members of the group to justice. The perpetrators face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
