In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a 34-year-old man will be tried for raping and then killing his 9-year-old niece. He faces life imprisonment.

Let us remind you that The incident happened on June 18 in the village of Kuty, Kosovsky district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
At about 3 p.m., when the child left the house to see her sister, a 34-year-old relative who was visiting her father followed her.
Taking advantage of the girl’s trust, the man suggested that she take a shortcut and go through the forest.
“He lured the girl to a wooded area near the river, after which he forced her to undress, beat her, raped her and strangled her,” investigators report.

That evening, near the Cheremosh River, the child’s body was found by law enforcement officers.
