Law enforcement officials exposed a Kiev resident who gave the Russian FSB the coordinates of the Ukrainian army and corrected missile attacks on the capital.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, the suspect agreed to cooperate with the aggressor at the end of December 2022 while crossing the Belarusian-Russian border at a filtration post.

To confirm his readiness, he immediately gave the intelligence officer the coordinates of the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit in the capital for fire destruction.
— A few days later, Kyiv was subjected to a massive missile attack. Two areas came under fire, including the enemy trying to hit a building containing Ukrainian military personnel. It was his location that the suspect gave, the report says.
It is indicated that after some time the man returned to Ukraine. He and his wife visited the arrival site and told her that he was involved in the missile attack. Other attempts to establish contact with the Russian intelligence service have also been documented.
“The suspect did not hide his pro-Russian views in the family circle, spoke disparagingly about Ukrainians and said that they should be destroyed,” the Office of the Prosecutor General points out.
During a search at his place of residence, the flag of the aggressor country, documents for obtaining Russian citizenship, computer equipment and mobile phones were seized.
The man was informed of suspicion of high treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). A preventive measure was chosen for him – detention without the right to post bail.
