An 18-year-old resident of the Belotserkovsky district of the Kiev region is suspected of fatally striking his two-month-old daughter because he could not calm the baby.
We are talking about part 2 of Art. 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of a child), for which faces a sentence of seven to ten years, reports the Kiev Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The tragedy occurred in one of the villages of the Belotserkovsky district. The young father stayed at home with his daughter. The girl was capricious, this irritated him very much. To “calm” baby, he walked up to the stroller and hit the child on the head. After that, the girl stopped showing signs of life.

He tried to shift the blame for his daughter’s death onto the doctors who had treated her for pneumonia the day before.
However, a forensic medical examination confirmed that the baby’s death was the result of a closed head injury.
The court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention.
