A 13-year-old boy has been pulled from the rubble in Turkey. The child survived and kept the parrot under the rubble for 55 hours.

How a boy was rescued in Turkey

Rescuers heard the boy's voice at the site of the collapse of one of the houses. The child was pulled out only after three hours.

When 13-year-old Berat Sary noticed his aunt, he gave her a budgerigar, with whom he spent all 55 hours under the rubble.

Aunt Döndyu Ozturk could not hold back her tears, glad that the child survived. She immediately took the boy's pet and fed him bread crumbs and water.

The rescuers wrapped the boy in a special blanket to avoid hypothermia and handed it over to the doctors. The child was hospitalized.
