A Russian agent who aimed missiles at the Kharkov OVA and other civilian buildings was sentenced to life imprisonment.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reports this.
Prosecutors proved in court that from February to April 2022, the man collected information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine and infrastructure in Kharkov through personal observation, interviewing local residents and recording data.

On February 28, 2022, the man sent the coordinates of the Kharkov OVA to his curator in Moscow. In addition, he provided data for striking the main office of the XADO company, which produces oils, auto chemicals, and the like. And also a number of addresses in the city, which were later shelled by the Russian army.
The Kharkov resident published messages on social networks in which he denied the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and approved the actions of the military of the aggressor state.
He distributed a publication with pro-Russian propaganda that in the city of Merefa, American scientists were allegedly conducting “tests of dangerous biological drugs on patients.”
It is indicated that the court found the citizen guilty of high treason, dissemination of materials containing justification for the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, illegal processing of firearms, illegal handling of weapons (part 2 of article 111, part 2 of article 436-2, Part 1 of Article 263-1, Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
He was sentenced to life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
