In Israel, in towns bordering the Gaza Strip, air raid sirens began blaring just 15 minutes after the ceasefire began.

Alarm sirens rang out in the evacuated towns of Kissufim and Ein Hashlosha in southern Israel.

The Hamas government's press office in Gaza said the death toll from the fighting had risen to 14,854 Palestinians, with 322 more killed in the past 24 hours. But these figures have not been confirmed by independent experts. In addition, these could be civilian deaths, as well as Palestinian terrorists killed by Israel.
Terrorist groups say that in 48 days of fighting, some 36,000 Palestinians were injured and 7,000 Palestinians – mostly women and children – were missing, some of them possibly trapped under destroyed buildings.
