According to Sky News, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant stated this. According to him, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are in the center of Gaza City.

He noted that the Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip is surrounded in a bunker. However, the Israeli minister did not specify where exactly this defensive structure is located.
