Hamas militant leader Yahya Sinwar is surrounded in his own bunker. It is located in the Gaza Strip.

This was stated by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. He also confirmed that IDF forces are indeed in Gaza.

According to the Israeli minister, the Hamas leader is now in a bunker in the Gaza Strip. Gallant emphasized that Sinvar is isolated from the world and does not even maintain contact with the militants.

Yahya Sinwar is a 61-year-old Hamas militant leader who rejects any proposals for reconciliation with Israel. He took office in 2017, replacing Ismail Ganiy. Sinwar is the highest-ranking Hamas official in Gaza and the de facto ruler of Gaza, as well as the second most powerful member of Hamas after Ghania. It is known that Sinvar spent 22 years in prison, serving a sentence for explosive activities and murder.

Israel threatens to eliminate Sinwar
