Hamas militant leader Yahya Sinwar escaped from the north Gaza to the south. He disappeared into a humanitarian convoy.

An unnamed Israeli official provided the relevant information to journalists. In early November, the media wrote that the Hamas leader was in his bunker, surrounded by the Israeli military.

Where is the Hamas militant leader

Sinwar fled Gaza City and headed to Khan Yunis in the south of the enclave in a vehicle that provided “humanitarian cover,” the official said.

He explained that publishing more precise information about the vehicle is prohibited. The Israeli side believes that militant leader Sinwar is still in Khan Yunis. In particular, he sits in one of the tunnels running under the city.
