UN Secretary General António Guterres met with the President of Poland before his trip to Kyiv. It is preliminary known that they talked about the reception and assistance to refugees.

Upon arrival in Rzeszow Poland, on the way to Ukraine, the General Secretary was received by the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda. The Secretary General expressed his deep gratitude to the President for the generosity of the Polish people, for how he opened his homes and hearts to almost two million Ukrainian refugees, according to the minutes of the meeting, published on the UN website.
The politician also informed the President of Poland about his meetings in Moscow and Ankara.
