“Guarantor” of security: Belarusian oppositionist explains Lukashenko's statement about World War III Melania Golembyovskaya

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that an attack on his country would be the beginning of World War III. However, this is not the first time he has repeated such words, and all to satisfy his own ego and show his importance.

Belarusian oppositionist Pavel Latushko expressed this opinion to Channel 24, noting that Lukashenko's words do not frighten the world at all. The thesis is designed only to support the Kremlin.

Lukashenko's statement on World War III

The Belarusian oppositionist explained that the self-proclaimed president often makes similar statements for the Belarusian people. Allegedly, he alone is the “guarantor” of peace and security for Belarusians.

However, here Lukashenko has been seized by megalomania, he is trying to give a public message not only to the people, but also to himself. Satisfying his own needs is a priority for him and in this way he is trying to attract attention to himself.

He is so “important” in world history that the attack he invented on the territory of Belarus will lead to a third world war. None of the experts can yet provide a real justification for such a thesis. In principle, who is going to attack Belarus?, – Latushko explained.

According to the Belarusian oppositionist, it is precisely NATO that considers Belarus a threat, that is, as a territory that Russia can use for aggression. The world is already tired of commenting on Lukashenko's statements, which are constantly repeated, and has become accustomed to them.

The only goal of such statements by the self-proclaimed president is to sell them to the Kremlin. Lukashenko is trying to convince Vladimir Putin that the West is a threat to their friendly countries. That is why he is conducting exercises in his country and redeploying his troops back and forth along the border with Ukraine. However, he will not agree to anything else, namely, to introduce his troops into Ukraine to support Russian aggression.

“It is likely that the Kremlin is buying this false thesis. Otherwise, Russian propagandists would not have left a “dry thread” about Lukashenko, because it is clear that such statements are untrue and have no confirmation,” Latushko added.

Note! Director of the Institute of World Politics Evgeny Magda believes that Lukashenko has now entered the fight to hold elections in Belarus in February 2025. All his actions are aimed at winning them and not losing Russia's support.
