Ukrainians will receive an increase in allowances for non-retirement/Collage 24 channels
< strong _ngcontent-sc88="">In Ukraine, the size of the increase in the pension of a certain category of people has been increased. The increase in surcharges from PFCs ranges from 10 to 40%. And each additional year of refusal of pension affects it.
As noted in the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, a certain category of pensioners will receive pension supplements. We are talking about those who, after the appointment of pensions, continued to work and refused to pay. Or those who wanted to receive funds later than expected.
Such pensioners will receive up to 40% allowances
The PFC noted that such categories of pensioners can count on solid bonuses. They will range from 10 to 40%.
Recall that the relevant law was in force until April 30, 2022. And citizens who have not retired will be able to receive an additional payment in June.
We are talking about the fact that a pensioner receives an additional 10% of the basic amount of payment for each year the refusal of a pension. But there is a limit of 40%, that is, the state is ready to compensate for four additional years of work of a citizen who could retire.
The department emphasizes that the amount by which the amount of the payment will increase will be calculated according to the basic pension.
What is the size of the allowance now
- for the first year after retirement – 6% of its basic amount;
- for two years – 12%;
- for three years – 18%;
- for four years – 24%.
How to calculate how much a pensioner will receive? The PFC decided to demonstrate a good example, based on receiving a 40% allowance for the same 4 years of non-retirement. After April 30, 2022, the increase in this case will be 24% of the basic pension.
Therefore, if the pension should be UAH 2,150, then the increase will be UAH 516. This is 24% of the basic pension.
Pensions will be paid to residents of the occupied territories in the future
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has taken up the issue of paying pensions and social security in the temporarily occupied territories. We are talking, in particular, about those regions where active hostilities are currently underway.
There, pensions will be paid to Ukrainians through Ukrposhta. It will be received in the department by those living in the areas of warfare, as well as in the temporarily occupied territories.
Previously, such people received funds on the account of Oschadbank. But the state adopted a new decision that will allow access to finance in those regions where Ukrainian banks have temporarily ceased their activities.
