Fourth grader Miroslava Movchan was at her house in Dnipro, which was hit by a Russian missile on January 14th. 9-year-old Miroslavka's legs were broken by fragments of concrete floors.
She is one of the most severely injured as a result of a blow to a high-rise building in the Dnieper. The grandmother and neighbor who took the child to the hospital immediately after the attack told Radio Liberty about the rescue and the condition of the girl.

Grandma, a house is falling on me . Everybody. These are her words,” said grandmother Lyudmila Movchan.
According to her, before the attack, she and the girl went to the store. When they returned home, friends ran up to the girl in the yard. After that, Miroslava asked to play with them.
It was quiet, peaceful. I say: “Well, well. I'll get up, take what you and I bought.” She looked out the window – she was next to the entrance with the boys. I just took off my clothes and put on a bathrobe. And here… – said the girl's grandmother.
At the time of the explosion, 9-year-old Miroslava was on the street. She was seriously injured. The girl's grandmother, as soon as she came to her senses, rushed to look for her granddaughter. When she found her, the neighbors were already helping her.
The neighbor took the girl to the hospital
Miroslava was noticed by their neighbor Svetlana, who is a doctor herself. The girl was in critical condition. Svetlana and her husband took the child to the hospital.
These were lacerations. There were no more clothes, no skin. The bones were visible to the naked eye. My husband and I carried her in our arms,” Svetlana recalled.
The husband got behind the wheel, and Svetlana and the girl in the back seat: “I tried to talk to her – she didn’t answer me. She just looked at me with my own eyes”.
According to Svetlana, when people and children scream, this is not the worst thing. The worst thing is when they no longer scream, they lie down and react badly.
