The White House is outraged that the Speaker of the House of Representatives has called a recess. Talking about Mike Johnson.

Representative White House Andrew Bates said Johnson called the holiday “instead of ending the harm he is doing to our national security.”

Every day Speaker Johnson causes our national security to deteriorate, America loses. And every day he delays the vote, the credibility of the Republicans in Congress with the American people declines,” Bates said. Speaker Johnson “runs away,” sending the House of Representatives into early recess.

As a White House spokesman noted, Johnson continues to strengthen Russia's bloody military efforts and the Iranian regime to the detriment of American national security, jobs in the United States and our closest country alliances.

Biden reacts to House decision

United States President Joseph Biden also did not remain aloof from the cynical decision of the House of Representatives to postpone the vote to help our state.
