German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said this while answering questions from deputies in the Bundestag.

Left MP Gesine Letsch asked, can Olaf Scholz guarantee that Germany will not become a participant in the war in Ukraine. He replied that he could give such a guarantee, adding that this is what he stands for as chancellor.
