The Chair of the Security and Defense Committee in the European Parliament, Marie Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, calls Russia's rearmament “a huge threat” to Germany and Europe.

“Russia has an impressive number of troops and a wide range of diverse, powerful equipment,” she emphasized.

Despite Western sanctions, Russia has managed to expand its military industry and production capabilities. However, difficulties with product quality and dependence on foreign technology limit its success.
