Germany will provide Ukraine with a large-scale package of weapons/Channel 24 Collage
Ukraine continues to receive military assistance from international partners. So, the German Ministry of Defense published a complete list of the necessary weapons that will be provided to our state.
It includes both lethal and non-lethal military assistance. And this assistance was made possible thanks to the funds of the federal government's modernization initiative.
The budget for modernization has grown significantly
The budget for modernization in 2022 has been increased . And it is 2 billion euros. We did this so that it would be possible to provide Ukraine with weapons. If we talk about the list of weapons, then it is decent. Everything is here: from cartridges and anti-tank mines to multiple rocket launchers and air defense systems.
What Germany will provide us
- 3,000 Panzerfaust 3 rounds, as well as 900 cuttings;
- 14,900 anti-tank mines;
- 500 STINGER anti-aircraft missiles;< /li>
- 2700 STRELA guided missiles;
- 7 Panzerhaubitzen 2000 self-propelled guns, including adaptation, training and spare parts (joint project with the Netherlands);
- 21.8 million rounds of pistol;
- 50 Bunkerfäuste ATGMs;
- 100 MG 3 machine guns with 500 spare barrels and bolts;
- 100,000 hand grenades;
- 5,300 explosive charges;
- 100,000 meters of detonation cord and 100,000 detonators;
- 350,000 detonators;
- 10,500 rounds of 155 mm artillery ammunition;
- 10 anti-drone guns*;
- 14 anti-drone sensors and silencers*;
- 100 automatic nozzles;
- 28,000 combat helmets ;
- 15 pallets of clothes;
- 280 vehicles (trucks, minibuses, SUVs);
- 100 tents;
- 12 power generators;
- 6 pallets of explosive ordnance disposal material;
- 125 binoculars;
- 1200 hospital beds;
- 18 pallets of medicines , 60 surgical lights
- protective clothing, surgical masks;
- 10,000 sleeping bags;
- 600 shooting goggles;
- 1 RF system ;
- 3000 field telephones with 5000 field cord spools and portable equipment;
- 1 field hospital (joint project with Estonia);
- 353 night vision goggles;
- 4 electronic anti-drone devices;
- 165 binoculars;
- medical supplies (including backpacks, first aid kits);
- 38 laser rangefinder;
- diesel and gasoline fuel (current supply);
- 10 tons of AdBlue;
- 500 pieces of dressings to stop bleeding;
- 402,000 rations per person (EPa);
- MiG-29 spare parts;

And here is another list. According to the German Ministry of Defense, it includes what they are preparing to provide to Ukraine. So the corresponding assistance should be waited for. In particular:
- 53,000 anti-aircraft ammunition;
- 8 mobile ground-based radars and thermal imaging devices*;
- 3 Panzerhaubitzen 2000 self-propelled howitzers;
- 4000 anti-aircraft tank ammunition;
- 10 (+10 optional) autonomous surface drones*;
- 14 tractors and 14 semi-trailers*;
- 2 tractors and 4 trailers*;
- 43 reconnaissance drones*;
- 1 high-frequency device with equipment*;
- 10 protected vehicles*;
- 8 electronic anti-drone devices*;
- 4 mobile, remotely controlled and protected demining devices*;
- 65 medicine refrigerators ;
- 1 vehicle decontamination point;
- 54 M113 armored personnel carriers with weapons (systems from Denmark, conversion funded by Germany);
- 30 GEPARD anti-aircraft tanks, including about 6,000 anti-aircraft ammunition*;
- IRIS-T SLM air defense system*;
- COBRA artillery detection radar*;
- 80 pickup truck*;
- 3 MARS multiple launch rocket systems with ammunition;
- 100,000 first aid kits*;
- 3 armored recovery vehicles 2*.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that additional information is not provided for security reasons.We are talking about the method, as well as the timing of the supply of weapons. We will know that it is in Ukraine only when it helps to effectively destroy the enemy.
All items marked with an asterisk are the supply of industry. Their provision to our state is funded by funds the same modernization initiative. Part of this assistance is either related to repair work, or the production itself has not yet been completed. In addition, in order to effectively use certain positions, the Ukrainian military must undergo ongoing training.
We add that the day before, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov had the opportunity to talk with his counterpart from Germany, Christine Lambrecht. He stressed that “good news” awaits our state.
The Minister also thanked the German partners. He emphasized the unwavering commitment to supporting Ukraine in countering Russian aggression. And the weapons that Germany will provide us, Reznikov is convinced, will strengthen our defense capability.
