German society does not feel internal fatigue from supporting Ukraine against the backdrop of a large-scale war that Russia continues.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock stated this in an interview with CNN international correspondent Christiane Amanpour.
According to her, every citizen has his own thoughts regarding what is happening in Ukraine and what assistance Germany is providing to the Ukrainian people. But from the very beginning, the majority of Germans and residents of Europe fully understood: it could be us in Ukraine’s place.

Annalena Berbock noted that the plane from Germany to Kiev is only a three-hour flight. People understand that we must support Ukraine because its armed forces also defend the European world.
