Russian plane got lost over the Baltic Sea/Collage 24 Channel

Russians are used to always breaking the rules. On Saturday, the plane of the aggressor country forced German aviation to take to the skies.

The occupiers are playing with fire. On April 6, a Russian “reconnaissance aircraft” flew over the Baltic Sea.

So, the German air force reported that yesterday it was forced to lift its fighters from the base in Lielvarde in Latvia. All because of the Russian Il-20 electronic reconnaissance aircraft, which was moving over the Baltic without a transponder.

Recall that this is not the first time that an enemy Il-20 has been involved in such an incident. In February 2024, near Estonia, it was intercepted by a French Mirage 2000 fighter. And in January, fighters from the German Laage base scrambled to intercept the “spy.”

Poland activates aviation amid shelling of Ukraine

Recently, Polish fighters have also begun to make frequent defensive flights. This is due to the intensification of Russian missile and drone attacks on the western regions.

So, during the massive attack on April 24, when the invaders powerfully hit the energy infrastructure of our country, one of the missiles flew into Poland for 39 seconds. Warsaw decided not to shoot down the enemy target for two reasons. Firstly, rocket debris could cause casualties among the local population. And secondly, the Poles allegedly knew that the missile would return back to Ukraine.

However, they did not ignore this incident. The Russian ambassador was summoned to the embassy. However, he ignored the “invitation”. He stated that Poland did not have a sufficient evidence base for crossing the airspace violation.

31 March Warsaw again scrambled its planes during the attack on Ukraine. Let us recall that then the occupiers once again attacked the western regions, in particular, explosions were heard in the Lviv region, Ternopil region and Rivne region.
