General Staff: Occupants in Volnovakha threaten to deport children to Russia if they don't go to school

In the captured Volnovakha and other settlements of this region in the Donetsk region, the Russian invaders drew up protocols on the improper performance of their duties by individual parents.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported about such facts in its report on September 2.

According to the Ukrainian side, for two weeks, from August 15 to 30, representatives of the Russian occupation administrations forced schoolchildren to study according to the Russian program and agitated locals to participate in elections and vote for candidates from the party United Russia.

Families that, in particular, refused to send their children to educational institutions, were visited by representatives of “district departments of education” accompanied by FSB officers.

The purpose of such visits is to arrange preventive conversations on “compliance with the norms of Russian legislation on compulsory secondary education”.

In the end, on parents drew up protocols on the improper performance of their duties and warned that after three such protocols they would be deprived of their parental rights.

Children under such circumstances are threatened to be transferred under the care of social services to orphanages in Russia.
