UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres spoke about the difficult situation in the Gaza Strip and called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire.
At a briefing on November 6, the secretary general said that Gaza was becoming a “cemetery for children” as “hundreds” of children became victims of the conflict every day.

According to the Secretary General, no party to the conflict can be above humanitarian standards and a humanitarian ceasefire must be achieved immediately.
