Gauleiter demands money from the population
For such implementations of collaborator Ekaterina Umanets, another name is perfect – racketeering. It also occupies a special place in Russian culture.
Thus, the Ria-Melitopol telegram channel, citing local messages, reports that it requires residents involved in trade in the market to pay a fee “for a place.” She wants everyone who sells agricultural products on the market to pay her 59 hryvnias in cash every day.
It is important that the shopping malls where Umanets is required to pay for places were established for the locals by the head of the Kirillov community, Ivan Maleev. You can always trade there for free. However, the Gauleiter did not pay attention to this and decided to earn extra money.
Umanets did not stop there. On her behalf, the collaborators gathered Kirillovka entrepreneurs in the council and announced that they would have to pay the Gauleiter 1,000 hryvnias a month.
The entrepreneurs asked who signed this order. They answered that the signature was put by “your head” Umanets. People said that their head is Maleev. Then they began to persuade them to pay at least 800 hryvnia, – said one of the entrepreneurs who was present at this meeting.
However, in Kirillovka they say that Ekaterina Umanets will soon be removed from her “position”. It seems that another local collaborator is being offered to take her place.
What is known about the collaborator Umanets
- The appointment of Gauleiter Ekaterina Umanets in Kyrylivka was announced in the Zaporizhia OVA on May 27. According to them, this woman is a well-known separatist from Melitopol.
- In 2014, she was the leader of the Melitopol anti-Maidan and headed the pro-Russian movement “Russian Spring”.
- She appeared on Russian television and did absurd statements. They say that because of poverty, people in Ukraine pay for salt in minibuses.
- In 2017, a criminal case was opened against her on suspicion of high treason. According to the investigation, she was in contact with the Russian special services and acted on their instructions.
- Umanets was hiding from the investigation in Moscow and worked as a realtor there.
- The collaborator returned to Ukraine recently, after the occupation of the unit Zaporozhye region.
