Gas turbine power plants should soon be brought to Kharkov to improve the situation with electricity shortages.
The head of the Kharkov OBA Oleg Sinegubov spoke about this after a visit to the city by a delegation of ambassadors of Estonia, Denmark, Sweden, France and UN representatives.
Diplomats were shown the damaged residential and energy infrastructure of Kharkov.

— He thanked the delegates for their assistance in providing the region with alternative energy sources and the announced support in the form of decentralized systems and restoration. We expect that the purchased gas turbine power plants will soon be delivered to Kharkov, which will help improve the situation with electricity shortages, — said Sinegubov.
The head of the Regional State Administration said that during the visit of diplomats, he assured that the authorities have a plan on how to provide the city with electricity.
According to the Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov, out of nine dozen cogeneration gas piston plants (mini-CHPs) purchased with USAID money, six are already operating in Kharkov, the city has passed the heating season with them.
