G7 leaders reacted to the terrible enemy shelling of the shopping center in Kremenchug/Kyrylo Tymoshenko
On June 27, Russian invaders committed another terrorist act in Ukraine – they launched a rocket into a shopping center filled with people in Kremenchug. G7 leaders responded to this terrible tragedy.
The shooting took place around noon. The Russians launched 2 missiles. One hit the mall itself, and the other hit the territory of the local stadium.

The terrible shelling by the Russians of the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchuk shocked not only Ukrainians, but also the leaders of the G7. In particular, US President Joseph Biden noted that another attack by infidels on civilians was cruel. The United States stands in solidarity with the Ukrainians.
As demonstrated at the G7 summit, the United States, along with our allies and partners, will continue to hold Russia accountable for such atrocities and support the defense of Ukraine, – Biden stressed.
French President Emmanuel Macron also reacted to the tragedy. He posted a message in Ukrainian on his Twitter.
“The shelling of a shopping center in Kremenchuk by Russia is a complete horror. We share the pain of the families of the victims. And the anger in the face of such meanness,” Macron said.
Also, the French President published similar messages in Russian and English with a note that the Russians should see the truth.
In addition, a joint statement of the G7 leaders was published on the official Twitter page of the G7 summit in Germany.
“We deeply condemn the heinous attack on the shopping center in Kremenchuk. We will not rest until Russia ends its brutal and senseless war with Ukraine,” the G7 leaders said in a statement.
They noted that indiscriminate attacks on innocent civilians is a war crime. So Russian President Vladimir Putin and all those responsible will be held accountable.
“Today we underlined our unwavering support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression, an unjustified war of choice that has been going on for 124 days. We will continue to provide Ukraine with financial, humanitarian, and military support as needed,” the G7 leaders added.
The UN Security Council will meet for a separate meeting on Russian shelling
The permanent mission of Norway to the UN, which is a member of the Security Council, also reacted to the missile attack on the shopping center in Kremenchuk. They noticed that the Russian attack on the mall is terrible.
Norway condemns Russia's indiscriminate and deliberate attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Guitfeldt said.
According to Ukrinform, the UN Security Council will meet on June 28 to discuss the shelling of Ukrainian civilians by Russian troops . It will start at 3:00 pm ET, that is, at 10:00 pm Kyiv time. Ukraine is also expected to take part in the meeting.
Briefly about enemy missile attack on Kremenchuk
- President Volodymyr Zelensky has released a video of the aftermath of the horrific missile attack by infidels on Kremenchuk. The head of state noted that at that moment there were approximately a thousand civilians in the shopping center.
- The missile attack caused a large-scale fire on an area of 10,000 square meters. 115 rescuers, 18 pieces of equipment and one fire train were involved in its liquidation.
- The command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the invaders hit Kremenchug with Kh-22 supersonic cruise missiles. They were fired from Tu-22 M3 bombers in the Kursk region.
