The agenda of the meeting of foreign ministers in Tokyo, which will be held on November 7-8, will include, among other things, further support for Ukraine, in particular, work will continue to create an air defense shield.

This was stated by German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock before leaving for Japan.

— Ukraine is and remains at the top of the G7 agenda. “For us in Europe, as well as for the G7 as a whole, there is an incredible amount at stake: if we now run out of support for Ukraine, Putin will ruthlessly take advantage of this – with dire consequences for people in Ukraine and Europe,” the diplomat explained.

According to her, countries in other regions of the world may draw the wrong conclusions from this, so it is important to continue strong and comprehensive support for Ukraine.

“We must work together today so that new theaters of war do not arise, whose shock waves would shake us all up,” concluded Burbock.

Germany recently sent a new batch of aid to Ukraine. This included, in particular, armored personnel carriers, surface drones and IRIS-T air defense radars.
