G7 countries will continue to explore possible ways to use the Russian Federation's frozen assets to support Ukraine until the next summit in June.
This is stated in the statement of the foreign ministers of the G7 countries.
It is indicated that Russian assets will remain immobilized until Moscow stops its aggression and pays for the damage it has caused to Ukraine.

The communique states that the G7 countries will continue to explore all possible ways to help Ukraine obtain compensation from Russia.
— At the request of the leaders, we will continue our work and provide advice ahead of the Puglia summit on all possible ways and viable options for using immobilized Russian sovereign assets to support Ukraine, in accordance with our legal systems and international law, — added by the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The next G7 summit will be held in the Puglia region (Italy) from June 13 to 15 this year.
Earlier, the head of the US Treasury said that Washington, together with its G7 allies, continues to explore a number of opportunities for unlocking frozen assets of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
