During the wartime conditions in Ukraine there is a shortage of certain goods for various reasons. In particular, now there is a problem with oil products, however, it should be solved soon.
This was announced by the first deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznik. According to him, in general, the situation with fuel in the capital is the same as throughout Ukraine.
“Now there is really a problem with petroleum products – this concerns diesel fuel and gasoline. yes, but the nets dispense no more than 10-20 liters per hand,” said Povoroznyk.
The problem with fuel will disappear
He noted that at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there was a similar situation with food shortages. Then the same lines were in grocery stores.
However, the networks, together with government officials, managed to establish food supplies and bring down this hype. After that everything was set up. In his opinion, the same will happen with oil products.
I am absolutely convinced that literally in 5 to 7 days the problem with fuel will disappear, Povoroznik said.
Causes of fuel shortage
The Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration named the reasons for fuel shortage. Firstly, these are oil storage facilities bombed by Russia. Secondly, a change in the places of their delivery to Ukraine.
It's no secret that in Ukraine in the pre-war period 80% – 90% were Belarusian gasoline and diesel fuel. – said Povoroznik.
That is changing now, he says. He stressed that traders are coping, but this takes time.
The authorities are working on the problem
Povoroznyk also added that now the Ukrainian government provides strategic directions. Therefore, he will make all decisions so that gasoline appears at gas stations.
“I want to note that we have lost gasoline, but solvency has not disappeared. People are ready to pay for fuel if they need it,” Povoroznik said.< /p>

At the same time, Povoroznyk added that public transport is functioning properly in the capital. Therefore, there are no problems with moving around the city.
