On the night of October 12, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a fuel and lubricants warehouse near the city of Rovenky in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.

Eyewitnesses claimed that they heard explosions in the area of the oil depot before the outbreak.
According to them, it was a drone attack.
Then the fire in Rovenki, Luhansk region, was also tracked by the NASA Firms service, which recorded the burning on north-eastern outskirts cities.
Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that they had hit a fuel and lubricants depot in Rovenki, Luhansk Oblast.
The mission, Ukrainian defenders note, was carried out by the forces and resources of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine together with other components of the Defense Forces.
A fire started at the base where oil and oil products were stored (which, in particular, were supplied for the needs of the Russian army).
The Ukrainian side is still clarifying the results of the damage.
We recall that the fire at the oil depot in Rovenki was already burning on May 10.
The occupation authorities then reported that there was allegedly one dead and several injured.
