Representatives of the Russian Federal Security Service are recruiting Ukrainian citizens who illegally crossed the border with the unrecognized Transnistria into the territory of Moldova.

According to the Center for National Resistance, Russian FSB officers are trying to extort from Ukrainians who illegally crossed the border information about military facilities and the development of the section of the border between Ukraine and the unrecognized Transnistria.
Ukrainians are being persuaded to work as freelancers and informants on a permanent basis, otherwise — they threaten to return them back to Ukraine.
