Front-line towns such as Mykolaiv or Kharkiv suffer from Russian shelling. However, the number of attacks can be reduced.

This was stated by military expert Oleg Zhdanov. He noted that the Russians should leave the cities for 200 kilometers. Then it will be harder for them to attack.

“Unfortunately, the range should be 200 kilometers or more. Even the missiles of the S-300 complex, which were converted into ground-to-ground class, reach up to 200 kilometers. If we take the Iskander, then Russian troops need to be moved 500 kilometers away from Nikolaev,” the expert said. /h2>

According to Zhdanov, there are currently problems in Ukraine with the delivery of anti-missile weapons. However, when they are provided, the problem can be partially solved.

The issue of protecting such cities as Nikolaev, Kharkov, Kramatorsk and now Chuguev (in general, the entire line of liberated cities ) is partially allowed. These are Kharkiv, Sumy or Chernihiv regions. If they provide anti-missile systems, then the settlements will be protected from rocket attacks, Zhdanov believes.

He added that the number of shelling could be drastically reduced. However, hostile artillery is capable of attacking, but at shorter distances.
