The US State Department has imposed new sanctions against the aggressors on the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In particular, 50 high-ranking officials received restrictions.

This was reported on February 24 at the Department of the Treasury of the United States of America. They note that the sanctions are aimed at metallurgy and mining.

“Today, a year after Russia launched its unprovoked war against Ukraine, the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control is taking significant measures to reduce Russia's ability to continue a brutal war and buy the resources used to support it,” the department said.
