Today is the last day of winter, and tomorrow is spring. Forecasters predict that in general March will be warm with above-normal temperatures. However, the frosts will linger a little more in Ukraine. What to expect from the weather in the first spring days, we tell further.
Weather forecast for the first days of March
According to the weather forecast, at least until March 4, frosts will still reign throughout our state at night. The biggest negatives are predicted in the West in the first two days of spring. Mostly -6, however, on Thursday in the Carpathian region it is possible up to -7.
In other regions of Ukraine in the dark, mainly only -2 … -4 degrees. However, during the day frosts will not pester in any region. The spring sun will warm up to +9 degrees.

Note that already on March 4, night frosts will weaken. The maximum is -4 in Transcarpathia. In other areas from 0…-2 degrees, and sometimes even plus. In particular, +2 is predicted in Luhansk and Donetsk regions at night. Meanwhile, in the Odessa region it is already up to +4 degrees.
During the day it is +4…+7 degrees almost everywhere. In Transcarpathian, Zaporozhye, Odessa and Kherson regions, up to +9 is predicted. On the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, it is even more – +10.

Note! Earlier, in a commentary on Channel 24, weather forecaster Natalya Ptukha said that in the first decade of March there could still be snow and a drop in temperature. The weather is likely to be unsettled.
Forecaster Igor Kibalchich noted: “Rapid warming is not expected in March. A steady increase in the temperature background will begin in the third decade.”
