The weather is expected to worsen in Ukraine in the first half of September. However, in some regions the air temperature will be favorable.
In the period from 12 to 15 September different weather is expected in Ukraine. This was announced by Natalia Golenya, Deputy Head of the Department of Meteorological Forecasts of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
What will the weather be like in the first half of September
Thus, atmospheric fronts are possible on September 12 and 15, bringing moderate rainfall. On September 13 and 14, a high pressure field will prevail in Ukraine, due to which dry weather will set in.
At night, Ukrainian thermometers will show 6-14 degrees of heat, and 15 is expected in the daytime – 21 degrees. True, on September 12-13 in the south and east of the country, and on September 14-15 in Transcarpathia, Prykarpattya, Vinnitsa and Odessa regions, the thermometers will reach 22-26 degrees during the day, the weather forecaster noted.
First Indian summer already in Ukraine
Forecaster Natalya Didenko on September 1 announced that the first Indian summer had already come to Ukraine. She explained that in the Ukrainian temperate continental climate, Indian summer comes approximately on August 28 and lasts until September 11. It is called young Indian summer.
The second warming comes already in the second half of September and early October. The third – falls in mid-November. After it, the first real frosts begin.
