In the Rivne region, empty carriages of a freight train derailed. Because of this, a number of passenger trains of Ukrzaliznytsia in the Carpathian direction will be delayed.
Delays in Ukrzaliznytsia train traffic
It is reported that trains No. 80 Lviv-Dnipro and No. 64 Lviv-Kharkiv will take a detour route through Ternopil with a delay of 2 hours.
Passengers from/to the stations Dubno, Brody, Shepetivka, Slavuta are picked up by Intercity #744 Lviv-Kyiv, which will be the first to travel along the damaged section after its partial restoration within the next 2 hours.

“If you are on one of the flights that is delayed and have a further transfer to UZ trains, please inform your conductor or steward about this – our dispatchers will coordinate the necessary connections,” the company noted.
Ukrzaliznytsia apologizes to passengers for the forced changes. Restoration work on the damaged railway section is already underway.
“The railway workers have deployed all the necessary equipment and specialists, we will keep you informed,” added the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Let us recall that on June 29, the Poltava-Yuzhnaya railway station was destroyed during the night Russian attack on the region.
Windows and doors were knocked out, ceilings were partially destroyed. The suburban train station, carriages and administrative buildings were also damaged by the shock wave.
