  • Patrick Schöbel. German citizen, arrested for possession of marijuana;
  • Paul Whelan. Former Marine, convicted of espionage;
  • Hermann Moijes. Lawyer, ideologist of the cycling movement.

In exchange for the release of political prisoners, Russia received killer Vadim Krasikov and other individuals detained for fraud and espionage, including GRU agents, hackers and smugglers.
