France is opening a second €200 million fund to support projects for recovery and integration into the European market, which complements a first agreement with Ukraine for the same amount.

According to him, many French companies were interested in the project support program. The first fund received three times more applications than planned, so the French partners decided to increase funding.

— The new fund will operate on a slightly different principle: part of the funds will come from the French budget, part will be co-financed, for example, by funds from Ukrainian state or private companies, international partners, foreign funds and governments. Projects will also be implemented in partnership with French and Ukrainian businesses, — Sobolev noted.
He reported that the Ministry of Economy will deepen cooperation with AFD, which has been working in Ukraine for a year with an official representative office and is implementing a number of effective programs to support social housing, municipalities and businesses.
In addition, at the meeting the parties discussed cooperation in the field of corporate governance and privatization, supplies of equipment for industrial enterprises, as well as further preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025), which will be held in Rome on July 10-11 this year.
