Four new units of invaders from the Udmurt Republic will soon be transferred to Ukraine.
According to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), these units were staffed by local volunteers from Udmurtia in order to immediately strengthen the front line in Ukraine.

What is known about four new units from Udmurtia
According to statements by the head of the Udmurt Republic, Alexander Brechalov, they are ready to be transferred to Ukraine:
- separate anti-aircraft missile battalion Evgeniy Dragunov,
- Cheptsa anti-aircraft missile division,
- Varmun motorized battalion,
- airborne assault division Kama.
The newly formed units were allegedly staffed after signing contracts with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
– These units appear to be Russian irregulars of unknown strength, which likely does not correspond to the doctrinal end strength of their stated echelons, according to ISW experts.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 654th day.
