On Wednesday, January 18, there was a terrible plane crash in Brovary. The wreckage of a helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs fell on a kindergarten, which subsequently caught fire.
Senior students of the 5th and 8th lyceums of the city were not at a loss and were among the first to rush to help. We are talking about Andrey Dotsenko, Anton Prishchep, Viktor Komissarov and Gleb Kasyan.

Schoolchildren of the city rescued children after the crash
Four high school friends were among the first to start pulling children out of the burning building. In addition, the children took the surnames and names of preschoolers from the teachers. Thanks to this, they were able to find the parents of four children.
Also, according to the guys, cars parked on both sides of the road seriously complicated the work of emergency services.
Therefore, together with other caring people, they freed up passage to the institution for ambulances, rescuers and the police. To do this, they dragged away cars that obstructed the passage.

- On the morning of January 18, a helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs fell next to kindergarten in Brovary. It happened when there were 73 children in the preschool. The building was damaged by fire as a result of the crash.
- The government has set up a special task force to investigate the helicopter crash. It will include the Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, the head of the State Emergency Service, representatives of other ministries.
