Ukraine now needs MLRS multiple launch rocket systems the most. According to Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, it is these weapons that can help the Ukrainian army.
He published a post on the social network, in which he explained that now such weapons can help Ukraine – American multiple launch rocket system MLRS.
According to him, these weapons can help Ukraine:
- repel the Russian offensive in Donbas
- stop torture, rape and other horrendous human rights violations by Russians in the occupied territories,
- unblock exports and prevent a global food crisis.

What is MLRS?This is a multiple launch rocket system – the universal launchers of the American army. They can fire unguided projectiles up to 45 km, M30 and M31 precision-guided missiles up to 70 km, and tactical ballistic missiles up to 300 km.
Zelensky urged partners to provide Ukraine with MLRS systems
- According to the president, thanks to this weapon, Ukraine will be able to take the initiative and liberate its territory. The head of state added that in some countries these MLRS systems are only standing. However, for Ukraine it is a matter of survival.
- He turned to countries that are afraid to provide Ukraine with MLRS systems, believing that our state will attack Russia. Zelensky recalled that today the war is going on on Ukrainian territory. “Donbass did not cease to be part of Ukraine after the Russian occupiers began issuing Russian passports there,” the president emphasized.
- Also, the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, emphasized that Ukraine needs MLRS – American multiple launch rocket systems on the tracked base “Bradley”. And the loss of time is too costly.
By the way, after the Rammstein 2 meeting, 20 countries announced new security assistance packages to Ukraine, including critically needed weapons. Italy, Greece, Norway and Poland have announced new deliveries of weapons and ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And Denmark will provide Harpoon anti-ship missiles and launchers for them.
