Mercedes drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton took a double podium at the Belgian Grand Prix. Russell started only sixth, but managed to hold on to the lead thanks to one pit stop.
McLaren driver Oscar Piastri took third place at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

George Russell took his second win of the season and third of his career overall. The driver bravely decided to use a one-stop strategy, while the other drivers in the top ten changed their tyres twice.

Russell withstood pressure from teammate Hamilton, who tried to attack him in the final laps, and finished as the winner before the summer break in Formula 1.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who started from pole position, lost third place to Piastri late in the race during a successful attack by the Australian driver.
Reigning Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull, who started from 11th place due to a ten-place grid penalty for changing his car's engine, he finished fifth behind Leclerc.

In the individual competition, Verstappen continues to lead, who now has 275 points. Lando Norris is second with 197 points, while Charles Leclerc — third (174).
Red Bull is in the lead in the Constructors' Championship with 404 points, ahead of McLaren (361) and Ferrari (340).
At the previous stage of the Grand Prix of Great Hungary, Oscar Piastri won. Norris finished second, and Hamilton was third.
