Law enforcement officers recently detained lawyer and investigator Petr Begun. According to investigators, he brutally killed and dismembered his beloved.
Currently, Begun is in jail. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
The suspect in the brutal murder once worked as an investigator
Recently, law enforcement officers detained 37-year-old Petr Begun in Irpin. According to investigators, he killed and cut into small pieces his beloved. After that, the man smashed part of it into landfills and reservoirs, but left something for himself.
In the house of the Runner, law enforcement officers found the heart, tongue, uterus and kidney of the murdered woman. He hid the organs in the freezer. Journalist Anna Babinets said that the man very professionally concealed his crime.
It would seem that an ordinary maniac. But no, not ordinary: he was brought up for budget money and, in fact, was not punished twice for the crimes committed, – Babinets noted.
She added that while watching the video of law enforcement officers about this murder, she could not understand , where a participant in the talk show “Blind Marriage” got such skills to cover up crimes.
“In the video, Andriy Nebitov, the head of the Kiev region police, talks in detail about the murder and that Pyotr was a lawyer and a talk show participant. But for some reason he does not say that Pyotr Bigun is a former law enforcement officer, an investigator of the prosecutor's office,” the journalist said.< /p>
Babinets said that in 2016 Bigun worked as an investigator for especially important cases of the Kyiv prosecutor's office. At that time he committed several crimes :
- While intoxicated, the Runner overturned on his Mercedes S500L. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. However, the culprit of the accident was not punished – the criminal proceedings were closed due to the statute of limitations.
- The following year, Begun was already accused of forgery. According to law enforcement officers, he made false petitions for temporary access to things and documents. The investigator was found guilty of forging documents. However, the court decided to release him from serving his sentence in prison – the Runner was given only a probationary period.
The Runner learned to hide crimes for budget money
Babinets said that Bigun later became a lawyer and ran for deputy twice:
- for the first time – from the Right Sector party to the Kyiv City Council,
- and for the second time – as self-nominated to the Verkhovna Rada.
“It seems that no one checked the background of the former investigator, and we could get another scandalous deputy who would live on our taxes. Well, then our hero kills A 39-year-old woman and professionally hides the crime,” the journalist emphasized.
According to her, it is important to understand that Bigun learned to hide crimes for budget money – during his work as investigators of the prosecutor's office on especially important cases, when he worked on documents and “came out unscathed.”
“The chief policeman of the Kiev region, Nebitov, in his horror video about a maniac, pathetically sums up that “danger can be very close, danger can come from where you don't expect it.” No! Danger will almost certainly come from unpunished evil: first you drive drunk, then as an investigator, you forge documents, and then you kill and dismember a woman,” added Babinets.
According to her, saying that Begun is a nugget maniac from a show about marriage is manipulation.

The head of the Kiev region police Andriy Nebitov commented on the report of the journalist about the detention of Begun. He noted that in the video about the disclosure by law enforcement officers of the murder in the Obukhov region, they indicated information about the current status of the suspect at the time of the crime without indicating personal data. research investigators, so I do not confirm or refute your information.
