Former director of the US Central Intelligence Agency David Petraeus believes that F-16 fighters could influence the course of the Russian war against Ukraine.
He said this in an interview with the Ukrainian service of the Voice of America.
“The provision of F-16s, which the Ukrainian Air Force will probably receive this winter, will be very important. “I believe that Ukrainian pilots are exceptional and they will very quickly switch from MiG and SU aircraft to F-16,” Petraeus said.
Earlier, the representative of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, said that some Ukrainian pilots are already undergoing training in the sky with an instructor on F-16 combat aircraft.
