Ukrainians are preparing for a guerrilla war against the enemy. According to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov, as soon as everything turns green around, the invaders will face a new hellish phase of confrontation.
Kirill Budanov, in an interview with The Nation, explained that the fighting in Ukraine have changed since the beginning of the war. At the current stage, the Russians have begun shelling our cities and avoiding ground clashes with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is confirmed by the data of British intelligence.
Ukrainian partisans will destroy enemies
The head of intelligence compared the Ukrainians to the Spartans, who bravely fought at Thermopylae, although they did not have enough strength. At the same time, he expressed confidence that the Ukrainians would not share the fate of ancient warriors, because we have already proved that the “second army of the world” is just a myth.
Russian command many times allowed miscalculations, and we use these miscalculations. The Ukrainian army has shown that the Russian army as “the second army in the world” is a big myth. It's just a medieval concentration of manpower, the old methods of warfare, – said Budanov.
He also added that soon the war will come to another turning point. Namely – a full-fledged spring. And this is for the benefit of Ukraine, because when everything around turns green, our partisan detachments will begin to actively operate behind Russian lines.
Our soldiers, our employees, even our hunters will begin to hunt Russians troops… Spring will come soon, our forests will turn green, and a real hell will open before the aggressor,” Budanov summed up.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence stressed that a very large number of people will enter the ranks of the partisans.
