Today, the Russian army has about 870 units of high-precision weapons in its reserves. However, all rockets, helicopters and airplanes contain foreign parts.

This information was shared with Channel 24 by the speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Ignat. He explained how Russia manages to obtain parts from abroad and how to limit a terrorist country in this.

How the Russians are stockpiling missiles and other weapons

As Ignat said, foreign components, including semiconductors and microcircuits, are in the following Russian weapons:

  • S-400;
  • X-101/X-555;
  • helicopters;
  • airplanes.

The occupier will be dependent on these components. They cannot produce this themselves, but there are other countries that help them. Therefore, there are possible supply routes – through smuggling or some other way through third countries,” explained the speaker of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It should be remembered, obviously, that before a full-scale war, the Russians accumulated equipment and various components. Moreover, if the enemy knew that he would suffer such colossal losses, he would have made large reserves.

According to Yuri Ignat, increasing selection pressure and monitoring the non-provision of technology to Russia are crucial in the fight against the aggressor country. Consequently, Western countries are slowly beginning to understand and implement mechanisms that will limit Russia in receiving dual-use goods.

What will be the energy situation in Ukraine: what is known

  • The head of Estonian intelligence, Ants Kiviselg, said that Russia will continue to attack civilian and critical infrastructure in Ukraine, so the winter will be difficult.
  • The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region, Major General Vadim Skibitsky, assessed the missile capabilities of the Russians. According to him, the Russians now have in stock: Kalibr cruise missiles – about 165 units, Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 aviation cruise missiles – approximately 160 units, Iskander-K cruise missiles and Iskander ballistic missiles -M” – about 290 units in total, Kh-47 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles – about 80 units, Kh-22/Kh-32 anti-ship missiles – 150 units.
  • Reserve Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan noted that previously the Russians even used their emergency reserves in missiles. However, the Russians are currently securing their defense system and stockpiling supplies due to the unrest in the world. In 2022, the Russians used more than 2 thousand missiles against Ukraine; this year they are still far from that number.
