Two emergency flights of Eurofighter fighters from the Italian Air Force involved in the Polish air patrol mission, the Italian Air Force reported.
It is worth recalling that on October 17, the Alaska Aerospace Defense Command recorded Russian Tu-95 Bear-H bombers that fell into the air defense recognition zone. That is why:
- US Air Force F-16 fighters intercepted them;
- Russian planes remained in international airspace;
- Russian equipment did not entered the sovereign airspace of the United States or Canada.
The Russians can prepare military operations against Lithuania and Poland
Russia has repeatedly threatened Poland with attack. Literally on October 21, the head of the Center for Military Legal Research and military expert Alexander Musienko said that the Kremlin is trying to increase the escalation to the EU and NATO countries.
This is very noticeable. In my opinion, given the aggressiveness and level of escalation that Putin and the Kremlin adhere to, they can prepare direct military actions against Lithuania and Poland. The purpose of this is to cut off the supply and logistics of weapons to Ukraine through the territory of Poland,” Musienko explained.
He noted that Russia could very well prepare the prerequisites for further actions and escalation with the countries of the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance.

In particular, according to him, the units of the Belarusian troops that were on the border with the Rivne region are being put on rotation in order to unite with Russia.
“They are being transferred to a state of combat readiness to the borders of Poland and Lithuania,” the analyst added.
