Ukrainian hackers attacked the network structure of Russia, taking revenge for Okhmatdyt/Collage 24 Channel

Ukrainian hackers attacked the Russian network infrastructure. They did this in response to a Russian missile attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv on July 8.

According to information from RBC-Ukraine, as a result of the cyber attack, numerous servers were destroyed, a mass SMS was sent with the message “This is for Okhmatdyt!”, network equipment, video surveillance systems and Hundreds of terabytes of important data were erased.

The publication noted that this time the targets of the cyber attack were the “Regional Clinical Hospital of Russian Railways Perm”, OOO “FD-Telecom” and OOO VAPK (Volgograd Agro-Industrial Company).

Thus, as a result of the operation carried out at OOO “FD-Telecom”, hackers destroyed 174 virtual and one physical server. Also, 51 terabytes of information were deleted, the video surveillance system was destroyed and direct financial damage in the amount of 360 thousand rubles was inflicted.

At the same time, according to the results of the cyber attack on the “Regional Clinical Hospital of Russian Railways Perm”, 70 personal computers of doctors were disabled, file storage, corporate mail, 12 virtual servers, three hypervisors were destroyed. In addition, network equipment, namely switches, routers and internal telephony, was disabled.

It is known that photographs of the destruction and those children who suffered during the cynical terrorist missile attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv on July 8 appeared on the personal computers of the personnel of the attacked facilities.

The publication added that, among other things, the hospital’s answering machine was also broken. Thus, when patients tried to call a medical institution, the answering machine, instead of a standard message, gave truthful information about the criminal actions of the Russian leadership and war crimes of the Russian army.
