For China to give instructions to Russia: how the United States is trying to influence Beijing

by alex

Moscow has become a vassal of Beijing and is under external Chinese control. The United States is trying to counter this with sanctions, but can restrictions really force China to back down?

About this Artur Kharitonov, the president of the public organization “Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine”, told Channel 24. The United States has two key tracks to contain China—economic and military.

Military and economic pressure on China

Now Washington’s policy is aimed at stopping not just direct supply of weapons, and in general, do everything so that China gives orders to its vassal to stop the war.

From a military point of view, many new innovative alliances were created led by the United States with participation of Japan, South Korea, Philippines, etc. In general, a new security model is being built that is aimed at China, which actually prevents a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

After all, in order for Beijing to be able to make this blitzkrieg, he will need to get past two serious alliances in the north and south of Taiwan,” Kharitonov noted.

Ukrainians often have a misunderstanding about whether sanctions have been imposed on China. Numerous sanctions have been imposed on China, of course, they are still less than on Russia. In particular, restrictions have recently been actively imposed in the sphere of economics and exports. That is, those technologies that will be supplied to the PRC for the development of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

Currently Beijing does not have access to innovative chips to develop equipment based on Shi technology, quantum computing, supercomputers. China does not have this parity, and the upcoming great war, of course, will involve the active use of high technologies,” said the president of the public organization “Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine.”

At the same time, there is a process of capital withdrawal from the country. The Chinese economy has rolled back 30 years in many respects. Therefore, talking about sanctions is already a concrete statement that if China continues to support the Russian war in Ukraine, it will be responsible for it.

This line was clearly demonstrated by US Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell . He said that the PRC would be responsible for any successes of Russia in the war against Ukraine.

“Russia assembles equipment from Chinese components”

As Kharitonov noted, China is already supplying equipment to Russia, talking about goods of dual value, for waging war against Ukraine. Currently, the United States has unblocked this censorship and now there are very clear and tough statements regarding China's comprehensive saturation of the Russian military-industrial complex.

A few weeks ago there was also information that 90% of microelectronics in 2023 for Russian military equipment was supplied from China. We are talking about technology that is used to create missiles, tanks and everything that kills the Ukrainian people.

We have 240 billion in trade turnover between Russia and China for 2023, which is not commensurate with the 10 billion of Ukraine and China. Supply and joint development are already taking place,” emphasized the president of the public organization “Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine.”

According to him, the question is that only equipment under the Chinese brand, that is, what is collected and labeled in China is not supplied to Russia. The aggressor country simply collects this from Chinese components at home, because Russian factories have not been destroyed.
