33 tons of Russian and Belarusian mineral fertilizers were arrested in Ukraine/Channel 24 collage
71 days of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine continues. A day earlier, the Office of the Prosecutor General secured the arrest of mineral fertilizers belonging to the enterprises of the aggressor country and Belarus.
We are talking about 33 tons of potassium chloride, illegally imported into Ukraine. The estimated value of the seized goods is 650 million hryvnia.
33 tons of mineral fertilizers from Russia and Belarus arrested in Ukraine
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that the arrested 33,000 tons of potassium chloride belong to enterprises registered in Russia and Belarus . During the pre-trial investigation, it was found that they were imported into the territory of Ukraine in violation of customs legislation.
As part of the investigation, criminal proceedings were opened on the fact of intentional tax evasionin especially large sizes. Currently, the issue of confiscation of the arrested property in favor of Ukraine's income is being considered. It is noted that the Bureau of Economic Security is engaged in pre-trial investigation, investigative actions are ongoing.
