Following the US: Finland promises new military aid to Ukraine

The world continues to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian invaders. In particular, the next aid package was announced in Finland.

Finland prepares eighth aid package for Ukraine

Defense Finland Antti Kaikkonen said that his country continues to support Ukraine.

Now we are preparing the eighth defense assistance package. A decision on this issue is planned to be taken fairly quickly, the minister noted.

According to YLE, Kaikkonen also said at the Ambassadors' Day last week that he believes that Finland should be preparing to provide more assistance to Ukraine. According to him, it should be continued without getting tired and numb from the war.

Military aid from other countries: briefly

  • Recently, another batch of aid from Poland arrived in Ukraine. In particular, there were PT-91 tanks there.
  • Great Britain also supports our state pretty much. During his visit to Kyiv on August 24, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a new aid package – more than 50 million pounds.
  • In addition, Sweden announced its desire to transfer military assistance to Ukraine. We are talking about 500 million crowns or 46.75 million dollars.
